We are pleased to announce several new features and improvements based on the valuable feedback received from our customers.From setting up primary and backup video streaming points in specified region to improving content moderation using AI, we're constantly striving to improve your streaming experience.Achievements:
AI Content Moderation for Nudity Detection is updated. Increased scanning speed and accuracy for VOD processing.
A new ingest point for Live streams is added in US Florida, capacity increased several times. Also thanks to this, you can choose the point closest to you, Florida or Virginia.
Function of limiting the territory for Live streams has also become available when choosing main and backup ingest points, when the data must remain within a specific region due to legal or other restrictions, i.e. inside US only, or inside EU only.
And one more feature for Live streams, which allows you to set the transcoding preset yourself via API for each stream.
Improvements:
"Live streams" feature is turned on for all Trial users with limit of 30 minutes.
"Video" entity page is rebuild from scratch to increase engagement into new VOD features.
Video player is prepared for the new AI-generated subtitles feature.
Video player is redesigned and improved: DVR rewind shows time in the past, audio language selection is fixed, chapters is visible in timeline area.
Deprecated "hls_playlist_url" parameter is totally removed from API.
